In 2000 Peter founded Platinum Freight® Management, which he continues to lead as CEO today. Platinum Freight® is a successful independent customs brokering and freight forwarding company which began with one Sydney office and in 17 years has grown internationally with offices now across Australia, as well as in Hong Kong and Auckland, New Zealand.
Platinum Freight services individual importers through to SMEs and large businesses commercially. He guides clients through the complexities of Customs Clearance, ensuring they experience the fastest and smoothest process and subsequent delivery of imported and exported goods. He operates with a 100% compliance rating through Border Force (formerly Australian Customs) therefore protecting his clients from any future recourse.
A community-focused businessman, McRae runs a generous Social Responsibility Program through his agency, which helps families and individuals via a number of important charity and community support programs. He also regularly participates in charity challenges and fundraising programs including Vinnies CEO sleepout and White Ribbon. He is an Ambassador for the White Ribbon Organization.
In November 2015 McRae and Platinum Freight were named one of the top Australian customs brokers at the annual Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards.
